They are on two floors connected by a wide staircase and a lift, suitable for those who have difficulties when managing a staircase. There are two bathrooms and one WC. Three of the bedrooms are on the upper floor. It provides you also with telephone facility for receiving calls, the use of a personal computer and free high-speed Internet access (wireless 802.11ac, ethernet), stereo music and a large number of cd's for your entertainment and relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, dish washer, oven, small oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, grill, fruit blender, smoothing-iron and microwave oven is connected to the breakfast room and the kitchen-veranda, well placed for enjoying your morning coffee and dining outside whilst observing the olive trees. The utility room attached to the kitchen offers the facility of clothing washing machine, freezer and a second refrigerator.
crpd library (a)Coming outside of the kitchen is a veranda, followed by the barbeque area, shaded by mulberry trees and surrounded by bushes and flowers. Next to this terrace there is an exterior shower room with WC, and the terrace of a large 94m2 swimming-pool with sun beds and umbrellas, for those who really want to enjoy swimming in deep water (maximum depth 2.40 m), at the same time viewing both the sea and the White Mountains. The really big terrace of on the first floor provides you with the opportunity for very private sunbathing during the day, and star watching at night. The estate provides suitable parking, partially shaded by a roof or by olive trees, which can easily accommodate a few cars. Next to it, the fruit orchard with citrus fruit trees, apricot and olive trees give you the sense of the local nature and products.

The village of Prines itself offers you walking opportunities in its old streets, where you can get a sense of its religion, its history and rural life. Tavernas in the nearby area and some delivery-at home facilities offer to introduce you to tasty local dishes and wine, making your stay here very easy and comfortable. At a small distance you can find several super and mini-markets, bakery, meat and green grocery shops.
The closest beaches for sea-swimming are in 3 km from the villa, at the Gerani and the Petres beaches. If you follow the national road from it, you have an extensive choice of uncrowded sandy beaches. Continuing your trip to the large village of Georgioupolis you can swim in sea waters pleasantly mixed with the sweet water from the river coming from the spring at Argiroupolis. Few kilometers away you find the nearby picturesque lake of Cournas, the sole lake in Crete, at a total distance only twenty five-thirty minutes driving from our mansion. You can swim there, eat at the tavernas and have a trip on a peddle-boat!
At night the city of Rethymno, 6 km away from the mansion, offers you the excitement of intense night life in bars and tavernas within the town and next to the sea. Rethymno, being a well-disciplined holiday resort, affords you the freedom to stroll safely through its streets, even during the small hours of the morning.

This villa is a 220 sqm property consisting of 3 levels. Built on the highest level of the plot, it enjoys panoramic views ranging from the blue strip of Souda Bay, the scattered Apokoronas villages to the magnificent White Mountains.
There is a two payment installments: 30% once a booking is confirmed, payoff 30 days prior arrival. The guest pays either by Credit Card or PayPal. In case of a cancelation, Cretico will refund the guest, according to the cancelation policy selected by the villa's owner.
