The elegant interior of the villa is organised on two floors. The ground level, with direct access to the pool area and the yard, consists of three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms feature double beds and a deluxe bathroom featuring a spacious bathtub. The third children's bedroom features a bunk bed and its own bathroom with shower. All bedrooms have air conditioning and access to a private balcony with a magnificent view of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori).
A staircase leads to the upper, open plan level that includes a spacious living-dining area with fireplace, a shower bathroom and a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a big refrigerator, an electric kitchen, a dishwashing machine and a second dining table. Moreover, it has a spacious veranda with a gorgeous mountain view.
The villa's outdoor spaces provide an ample swimming pool with a vast tiled space all around it, equipped with sun loungers and parasols at the front side of the villa. The lush gardens of shrubs, fruit-bearing trees, and olive trees spread all around. A stone-built BBQ will offer you the chance to prepare homemade grilled delicacies and enjoy them by the pool with the most stunning views before you. Moreover, each floor has direct access to porches, verandas, and balconies that boasts unique views of the Apokoronas area. A private parking area is also provided within the property.

The Villa is located in the village of Megala Chorafia, a picturesque hilltop village surrounded by green countryside, only 1.7 km away from the sandy beaches of the north Cretan coast and 9 km away from Chania. With the imposing White Mountains as a backstage scenery to the south and unobstructed views of the valley, until it reaches the sea to the north, the villa boasts splendid views to any direction.
Megala Chorafia is mostly developed into two cores; the first core, where the villa is set, is around the junction that leads to some of the traditional villages of Apokoronas (Samonas, Stilos, Provarma, Machairoi) and the second core is developed next to the hills of the ancient city of Aptera.
Within the village, you may find several traditional tavernas and a mini-market in less than a five-minute walk away.
In addition, the picturesque villages of Kalyves and Almyrida, with their marvellous sandy beaches and waterfronts, are located around 6.5 and 10km away respectively. There you may find an array of extra services, entertainment and activity choices, and anything one would need for a teeming vacation.
Moreover, the ancient city of Aptera, a worth-visiting archaeological site, is located on the plateau on the hill right next to Megala Chorafia, just a 15-minute walk away from the villa. Don't miss strolling around the hill, admiring the remains of the once major city-states of the Cretan civilization, dating back to the Minoan times.
The first epigraphic occurrence of its name is found in the Linear B tablets (14th - 13th century B.C.). The history of the city continued through the centuries until the 7th century A.D., when an earthquake destroyed it. Its ideal location was determinative for its development into an important commercial and political centre. By harbours, Kissamos and Minoa, located on both sides of Suda Bay, Aptera was able to control the naval activity. The era of the city greatest peak was the early Hellenistic period (late 4th - 3rd century B.C.).
The villa is well-located to make excursions in the nearby, traditional, countryside villages of Apokoronas district; in Stilos you can have a drink in the shady cafes, in the village of Samonas you may visit the lovely secluded church of Ayios Nikolaos with its fantastic medieval frescoes, you may admire the wild endemic flowers, unique in Crete, or walk through the many small gorges in the district of Apokoronas . With the villa as a base, you can also explore the rest of Crete since the distances are small and also Megala Chorafia is next to the National Highway, leading you everywhere in Crete.

The villa was built in 2009. Situated in an idyllic location in Kambia, municipality of Vamos, Chania, Crete, it is ideal for holidays that combine both mountain and sea.
There is a two payment installments: 30% once a booking is confirmed, payoff 30 days prior arrival. The guest pays either by Credit Card or PayPal. In case of a cancelation, Cretico will refund the guest, according to the cancelation policy selected by the villa's owner.
