Read moreEntering from the main entrance, the holiday villa is a spacious living area, with a high ceiling supported by wooden beams. Sophisticated furnishing with a touch of tradition, tints of personal taste, carefully-selected lighting, stone or fine wall finishing, bathrooms and kitchens all picked out having in mind our guest's well-being ornate all three levels of the holiday villa.
The ground floor includes two separate bedrooms with a private bathroom equipped with a relaxing hot-tub. Fluffy bathrobes and towels, personal hygiene items and all accessories of a privately-owned house are there available for our guests. Each room has an air conditioner, spacious closets and a safe. Both bedrooms look to the beautiful landscape that unravels beneath their private verandas next to the pool. Further inside, we find a small but functional kitchen with a fridge, a coffee machine, a mini bar, a glass-ceramic cook-top and a washing machine. The same area also houses the gym with a treadmill, a stationary bicycle, fitness equipment, a ping pong table and a big sauna for the ultimate relaxation during your holidays! The ground floor also hosts the cellar with wines skillfully produced by the owners. There is also a large freezer and a smaller storage space in the cellar.
The first floor includes one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a hydro-massage shower cabin. Facilities available to guests include: air conditioners, spacious closets, a safe, space for luggage and a view to the traditional village, the mountains and the serenity of the land from the room's private balcony. The first floor also houses the large living room with a comfortable couch, a fireplace, an LCD Satellite TV, a DVD player, a hi-fi system and a docking station. Right next to the living room, we find the kitchen with a contemporary-style family dinner table, a fridge, a microwave, a stove, a dish-washer, an espresso coffee maker and all necessary equipment to cook and serve. The spacious indoor areas extend outside to a large veranda with a panoramic view to the mountain and the sea, equipped with an eight-people dining table and many benches to relax for a drink, a coffee or to eat, all hours of the day.
The second floor houses one more spacious bedroom with a twin bed, a private bathroom with a shower, as well as one delightful surprise: a big veranda with an outdoor Jacuzzi for four, looking to breathtaking scenery in the sunset or under the moonlight!

The pictures really don't do it justice - this villa is absolutely beautiful. Clean, spacious and so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The pool is large, sunbeds really comfortable and the views of the mountains are lovely. Set in a small village you really do get the feeling of being in rural authentic Crete yet a short drive from the lovely beaches of Amyrida and Kalives and with in easy reach of Chania. The villa was cleaned during our week's stay which we appreciated and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. To watch the sunset in the jacuzzi was a real treat. We very much hope to return.
The villa looked great on the website, in fact when I booked I thought it looked too good to be true! On arrival though we were not disappointed. It is beautifully furnished and is better than it looks in the photos. The arrival and departure were efficient and there are lots of little details that really make a difference; washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, coffee pods, lovely bathroom products, plenty of toilet paper etc so that you didn't feel you were wasting money on that sort of thing. The pool is lovely and the towels provided are fluffy. The village is friendly with a good mini market where we got fresh bread every morning, great local yogurt and ice cream. I can recommend Kalyves beach, in particular the far end from the villa where GK taverna does good food and wine with good service at a reasonable cost. I would have no hesitation in going back to Villa Rouga and have no hesitation in recommending it to you. Lovely little balconies to have a quiet moment but also great sharing space to spend time with friends. Go for it!

This villa is a 220 sqm property consisting of 3 levels. Built on the highest level of the plot, it enjoys panoramic views ranging from the blue strip of Souda Bay, the scattered Apokoronas villages to the magnificent White Mountains.
The luxury villa it is built on the lowest level, however there is no compromise in the surrounding views of the blue sea and the magnificent mountain tops. Perfectly suiting the needs of the discerning traveler, your private villa is the ideal base for exploring the surrounding area of Apokoronas with style on the side.
There is a two payment installments: 30% once a booking is confirmed, payoff 30 days prior arrival. The guest pays either by Credit Card or PayPal. In case of a cancelation, Cretico will refund the guest, according to the cancelation policy selected by the villa's owner.
