The main entrance leads to the living area with fireplace and satellite TV. From here a few steps lead up to the dining area and kitchen, fully equipped with all the necessary modern appliances. A hallway from the sitting area leads to the first bedroom (twin beds) and bathroom with shower, WC and a washing machine. From this level a few stairs lead down to a very spacious second bedroom/suite with a double bed and a comfortable sitting area. Large balcony doors open out to a pretty patio with surrounding gardens, just next to the barbecue and wood oven.
On the top floor is the third bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with bath tub and WC. From here one can enjoy a panoramic view from the spacious veranda over the impressive bay of Mirabello.
Facilities inside of the villa include four air condition units (included in the price), satellite television in every room, a DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and various other kitchen appliances.
The villa is surrounded by terraced gardens with grassy lawns and colourful shrubs. There is the private swimming pool (40sqm) with sun beds and umbrellas and a variety of comfortable seating areas, providing the ideal setting for barbecue dinners.

This beautiful villa with a private swimming pool is situated 2.5 km outside the traditional village of Kavousi and 20 km East of Agios Nikolaos. The villa is located on the slope of a hillside with a spectacular view of the Mirabello Gulf and the island of Psira. The surrounding area is unspoiled with only a scattering of houses.
Apart from swimming, you may also go on excursions to the area around. The village of Kavoussi (3,5 kilometers far from the beach at the South), built at the foot of mountain Thrypti, within a small fertile valley with vegetable cultivation, vineyards and olive trees, is certainly worth seeing. Once in the village, you may visit the Byzantine churches of Aghios Georgios (St. George) and of the 12 Apostles. It is also worth seeing the huge perennial olive tree, with a trunk of an impressive diameter, within the valley at a distance of some 2 kilometers southeastern to the village ; it is certainly a natural monument, worth taking photos of it. If you are fan of archaeology, don't miss to visit the Minoan settlements at the sites of "Vrontas" and "Kastro"; also you should go any way to see the Minoan copper mines at "Chryssokamino". Also at the beach of Tholos you may see ruins of the Roman period, whereas an Early Minoan settlement is found on the small islet of Psira, opposite to the beach. The fans of natural sightseeing should visit the Messona gorge and the cave Theriospilio, with interesting stalagmites, close to "Chryssokamino".

· The archaeological site of "Plai Kastrou", preminoan settlement with interresting finds, now on display at the Iraklion museum, visited only by a 1.5km footpath.

· The cave "Theriospilios" with stalactites and stalagmites.

Constructed with organic shapes and amazingly lush exterior spaces facing towards the sensational landscape of sea and islands, the villa is framed naturally and gracefully fits in with its surroundings. The garden and orchard, which were created by a landscape architect, combine decorative and scented species in order to enjoy fruits and flowers the entire year-round: olives, oranges, mandarins, lemons, figs, mousmoulia (a type of peach), pomegranate and aromatic plants - mint, rosemary - turn sitting in the shaded lounge near the garden into a deeply relaxing experience. The villa and gardens have been designed to provide multiple areas of shade during the day as the sun moves around the villa.
There is a two payment installments: 30% once a booking is confirmed, payoff 30 days prior arrival. The guest pays either by Credit Card or PayPal. In case of a cancelation, Cretico will refund the guest, according to the cancelation policy selected by the villa's owner.
