The villa is a traditional Cretan home. It is made of stone and wood, in total harmony with the natural beauty of the area, white colours are dancing in the rooms and Intense traditional details like stone archways, built-in beds, baths and sofas. The villa comprises 4 bedrooms, enough to host up to 9 guests in beds. Three more guests could be hosted if willing to sleep in common areas as well as in the case of children, that guests can also rise up to 12.
Although one of the higher houses of the area it is protected from the winds. It's just a few meters below the wings of the eagles that nest high up on the cliffs and it offers to visitors a one and only panoramic view of the Libyan sea and almost all the southern landscape of the countyside of Rethymno.
Absorbing and feeling the view from the distance, we can see from Plakia to Matala, to the islands Paksimadia, Gavdo and Gavdopoula and you will feel your eyes and senses travel into the deep blue unlimited sea.

Below the village the coast is a string of quiet beaches, Gialopotama, Podare and Anatolika among them, about 4 km away, and the palm fringed beach at Preveli, where a river meets the sea below the monastery of the same name, is within easy reach. Plakias, with its long beach, tavernas and shops, is a short drive west, and Spili, with its Venetian fountain of lion heads, is 13 km, about 20 minutes by car. Rethymno is about 45 minutes away and Chania Airport about two hours.

Amazing villa, view and host! All looks better than in the photos! The view is something that you will remember for long! The beaches and tavernas are easy to reach by car!
Beautiful Views We visited this villa in September and enjoyed it very much. The home is well equipped and comfortable. This location is nicely isolated, grocery and beaches are a 15min drive. The roads in this area are fine but are not north american roads, expect steep hills and tight winding roads. You really don't need to go anywhere to have a terrific holiday, the villa has it all.
