The farmhouse is a one-storey building with a surface area of 140 square meters, includes 2 bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a swimming pool.
A courtyard typical of Cretan houses forms the entrance and connects with the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom. The living room is 15 m Χ 6 m = 90 m2 and can easily host an additional 2 beds.
On the other side of the living room are the bedrooms, private garden and swimming pool which is approximately 25 m2. An umbrella, pool chairs and sun beds are available around the pool and the private area outside the bedrooms. There is access to the pool from the living room and the kitchen too.

The Keritis river runs beside the estate, rising in the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) and flowing down to the well known seaside resort of Platanias. Lake Agia and its wetland are just 1 km away.
The estate has two wells, fruit trees, an organic vegetable garden and footpaths. It is enclosed by a stone wall with iron gates.

Palace among orange farm This place is amazing. Not only its large and beautifuly designed rooms makes you feel very cosy and comfortable, the house has a private outside part which will make you feel special. The pool area is perfectly shaped for relaxing and refreshing during hot days. No need to tell that we really enjoyed our stay here and it was very difficult to leave. The host Danai is very welcoming and will not hesitate to share local tips with you. If you travel in Chania area, do not hesitate to look for this house !
Charming and comfortable retreat We spent a lovely two weeks in this beautiful villa. The pool and courtyard are stunning, and our children enjoyed exploring the Orange Farm and playing with the dog and cats. George and Danai were so welcoming, and the fresh fruit and vegetables - and some surprise home-cooked Greek specialities - were delicious. It was also lovely to arrive in the villa after a long flight to find that essential supplies (and a bottle of wine) had been thoughtfully supplied. The villa is a very quiet and private retreat, and we rented a car to explore the beaches / gorge walks / towns / museums etc. The nearby Botanical Gardens of Crete is very interesting, and has a lovely restaurant. Thank you Danai and George, we miss the villa very much!
Dream Holidays in Crête I could only recommend Danai's place in the Orangery. The farmhouse is exceptional, absolutely beautiful Inside and out. The kids loved playing with the pets and we had a refreshing and fun time in the private pool. George who is leaving in the farm close to us is also fabulous, welcoming and very helpful. He was offering us some organic vegetables from the garden and even cooking some specialties for us! We we spoiled and loved it :-) We simply loved our time in the farmhouse and are looking forward to come back. Thanks so much to you both George and Danai! We miss you and your beautiful place!
Charming, private gem We, a family of three, spend a fantastic week at the orange farm. The house had everything one could wish for including a very nice pool. The farm's caretaker looked after us, and spoiled us with fresh vegatables from the farm. The location was perfect - away from all the tourists yet with shopping and restaurants only a ten minute drive away.
